Privacy Policy
Your ride information belongs within your ride. Here is what we collect, why we need it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
AI Tech Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Bikers & Riders. Contact us at contact@bikersandriders.com. Mailing address: AI Tech Solutions LLC, 9611 Brookdale Dr #100-131, Charlotte, NC.
2. Information we collect
- Account: your mobile phone number, used to sign in with a one-time code sent by text message.
- Profile: your first name, optional last name, required profile photo, optional motorcycle make, model and year, and optional tank range in miles.
- Emergency contact: a name and phone number you choose to enter. It is visible only to you and to the admin of a ride group you have been approved into.
- Location: precise location is collected only during an active ride while you are an approved member, including in the background if you allow “Always” location. It is shared only with other approved members of that ride. Speed and heading are included. We also calculate distance ridden and top speed for the ride recap.
- Motion sensor data: if you enable optional crash detection, motion data is analysed on your phone during an active ride. It is not uploaded. Only the resulting alert, with location, is sent if a crash is detected and you do not respond.
- Content you create: group chat messages, voice messages, status messages, ride photos (up to 25 per rider per ride), planner items, road hazard reports, and SOS alerts.
- Ride details: ride name, start and end places and times, stops, who joined, and arrivals at stops and destinations.
- Contacts: only if you choose to invite friends from your contacts. We do not upload or store your address book. You pick contacts and your phone’s messaging app sends the invite.
- Device and notification data: a push notification token and platform, so we can send ride notifications. Notifications can show message text on your lock screen.
- Technical data: our hosting providers may log IP addresses and basic request data for security and reliability.
We do not use advertising, sell personal information, or use third-party analytics or tracking. This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking.
3. How we use information
We use information to sign you in; run live ride tracking and show riders to their group; send notifications for ride starts, chat messages, SOS, stops and arrivals; show weather and nearby fuel and food along a route; keep the service secure and prevent abuse; provide support; and comply with law.
5. Service providers
We use the following service providers (processors) to run the app, each only for the stated purpose:
- Supabase: database, storage, and server functions.
- Twilio: sending sign-in text messages.
- Expo / Expo Push: delivering push notifications.
- Apple Maps: map display on iPhone.
- OpenStreetMap-based services (Photon, OSRM, Overpass), Open-Meteo, and the US National Weather Service: place search, routing, and weather.
Queries to place, routing, and weather services come from your phone and include the locations being searched.
6. How long we keep information
Live location rows are deleted when a ride ends or is cancelled. Ride chat, photos, voice messages, planner items, hazards, and ride recaps are kept until you delete them, the ride’s group is deleted, or your account is deleted. For deleted accounts, see Delete your account.
We may keep limited records where required by law or to prevent abuse. We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse.
7. Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile at any time.
- Turn off location, notifications, contacts, microphone, camera, and crash detection in the app or phone settings.
- Delete your account in the app (Profile, then Delete account) or follow the Delete page.
- Ask for a copy of your data or a correction by emailing contact@bikersandriders.com.

The app is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe we have collected a child’s information so it can be removed.
